Your federal cancellation right
A consumer may cancel a contract with a credit repair organization without penalty or obligation at any time before midnight of the third business day that begins after the contract is signed.
How cancellation is completed
Your signed service agreement must be accompanied by two copies of a Notice of Cancellation. That notice identifies Eight19 Financial Group, the business address for delivery, and the specific cancellation deadline. To cancel, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of that notice, or another written notice clearly stating your intent to cancel, to the address stated in your agreement before the deadline.
Your documents
At signing, you should receive a completed copy of the agreement, required consumer credit file rights disclosure, two copies of the cancellation notice, and copies of any other documents you are required to sign.
Important distinction
This webpage is a general explanation of cancellation rights. It is not the contract-specific Notice of Cancellation and does not replace the dated duplicate forms that must accompany a consumer agreement.
Questions
Questions about an agreement or cancellation may be submitted through the Contact page. Do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, credit reports, passwords, or identity documents in the general contact form.
